National Science and Engineering Week 2009

Project aims:

To engage and inspire the public with science, engineering and technology and it's implications.

Summary of activity:

Coordinate the programme of over 3,500 STEM events across the country.

Evaluation approach:

Questionnaires to organisers, presenters and attendees. Analysis of the events database. NOP Survey Questions.

What went well:

1: The number of events and participants

2: The participation levels of our mass participation activity

3: High satisfaction levels with our resources and assistance

What was learned:

1: Tailored marketing to a segmented audience

2: Greater push on Press and PR

3: Streamline evaluation process
